About Moonee Valley Interfaith Network
Mission:
The Moonee Valley Interfaith Network (MVIN) promotes peace, respect and understanding amongst religious and spiritual communities in the City of Moonee Valley, fostering social cohesion with each other and the broader community.
We endeavour to achieve this mission through dialogue, education, sharing universal values, and conducting events such as:
• Monthly gatherings to discuss matters of common concern in an open and friendly environment.
• Informative presentations by member communities on the basic tenets of their faith.
• Planning and conducting of multifaith and interfaith events.
• Tours of places of worship in the City of Moonee Valley and surrounding municipalities.
How to join MVIN:
The Moonee Valley Interfaith Network (MVIN) was established on the 2nd of February 2012.
Committee
meetings are held monthly on Wednesday nights at 7.00 pm at the Sam
Merrifield Library - 762 Mt Alexander Rd, Moonee Ponds.
Membership
is open to any interested individual from a faith/religious community
in the City of Moonee Valley. To request to join MVIN, please fill out the form below.
